Place Setting For Hor Dourves Wedding

You may look but do not ever, ever touch!

Korea.... Culture Shock, perhaps, strange - interesting. Confusing.

We wanted (my darling man, Brady the dog and I) to go to a public park where we can have a walk in nature, which is so hard to find here.

Great idea... we set out, got to the park and then suddenly realized that everything is fenced off.. you can look at the forest but you may not enter it . There are designated paths where you have to walk, bordering around these paths are tall, 2 meter tall fences, which happen to be painted green, so they can blend with the forbidden nature.

We are just about to enter this public park (yes, there was an entrance fee) when a man tells us that we can't go inside with a dog - we tell the man kindly that we do not want to enter the palaces surrounding the park we just want to walk in it. The man says, "NO DOG IN PARK, YOU PAY AND YOU GO NOW" We asked the man if we can just walk in the "natural surroundings" - "NO DOG" "YOU LEAVE NOW"

So, my moral to the story... You may look but do not ever, ever touch and just forget about bringing a dog.

What we ended up doing is going to one of the only places we know where you can walk with your dog. My darling you always says that it's not that bad. I'm like, look around ... it is that bad. But at least there's water nearby and the scenery is really quite beautiful ...

Contrasts are bountiful .. Which makes it beautiful.
